Since 2009 events organized at the George R. Brown Convention Center focusing on the Made in Italy have positioned themselves as one of the most significant in this sector in the United States.
Retail oriented expo dedicated to Italy, the exhibit over the years has created a keen sense of anticipation for the people of Houston which in the past have flocked in great numbers, registering more than 20.000 visitors each year.
This year, to better respond to the needs of the italian companies, and push the level of excellence or products and exhibitors even higher than past editions we have completely revolutionize our approach with the new format of ExhibItalia.
Two days centered around Arts&Crafts, Design&Technology, Culture&tourism, Fashion&Accessories, Food&Wine will provide the public with an unforgettable “Italian Journey” complete with fashion shows, cooking class, wine tasting and more.
The visitors can be mesmerized by Italian flavors and fragrances joining the cooking organized by professional chefs, tasting the vast wine selection. To previous editions top importers and distributors such as Spec’s, Turano Baking Company and Isola Imports have participated
Two sections are entirely devoted to the italian companies in the textile, clothing and shoe industries. The southwest market and its clientele are keen to have access to the famed Made in Italy. The market is still very young and not saturated like other part of the States like Miami, Chicago and New York. Young designers will have an option to showcase their creative genius with fashion shows and competitions.
A great opportunity for the companies without the big brand, but strong of good design and product quality, to gain visibility and appreciation. The jewelry and the arts and crafts beautifully complement this proposition.
The attendee to the event knows, loves, and chooses Made in Italy and it is curious to expand its knowledge of the latest trends and innovations. Given the consumer-oriented nature of the event, promotion will be wide and strong, with online campaign, radio and local tv, pre-event gala and private dinners to promote the event at the highest level in the Houston community. Visibility in Italy and Texas will be strong.
Entertainment and Shopping: fashion shows through the two days period, musical and artistic performances, car exhibits, a kid’s zone and restaurants add to the overall experience of the public, transforming the trade show in a multi-sensorial experience.
